Mumbai – In the heart of the cinematic city, where artistry and culture pulse with vibrancy, the prestigious Maharashtra State Film Awards will grace the grand stage at the Dome SVP Stadium in Worli on the evening of August 21. This event transcends mere celebration, standing as a beacon of the Marathi film industry’s vibrant tapestry, where tradition meets innovation under the gilded glow of accolades.
This year, the ceremony is set to be an extraordinary confluence of Maharashtra’s most celebrated cultural figures, at the hands of Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in the esteemed presence of Hon. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Hon. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, and an array of dignitaries including Hon. Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Hon. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his indelible contribution to the silver screen. Alongside him, the luminous Asha Parekh, a name synonymous with grace and enduring talent, will be honored with the Late Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. These accolades, accompanied by significant cash prizes, citations, and exquisitely crafted trophies, are not just awards, but emblems of a life lived in relentless pursuit of artistic excellence.
The evening will also pay homage to the architects of storytelling—writer-director-actor Digpal Lanjekar will be lauded with the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award, while the Late Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award will be presented to the multifaceted N. Chandra, whose vision has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Adding to the symphony of recognition, the ethereal voice of Anuradha Paudwal will be celebrated with the Lata Mangeshkar Award for 2024, a fitting tribute to a singer whose melodies have woven themselves into the cultural fabric of the nation. मुंबई- मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीसाठी अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा  आणि मानाचा समजला जाणारा राज्य शासनाचा मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार सोहळा यंदा वरळीच्या डोम एसव्हीपी स्टेडियममध्ये २१ ऑगस्ट रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आलेला आहे.

राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या शुभहस्ते तसेच उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर, सांस्कृतिक कार्य मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार, शालेय शिक्षण मंत्री दीपक केसरकर, कौशल्य रोजगार मंत्री मंगलप्रभात लोढा, विधानपरिषदेच्या उपसभापती नीलम गोऱ्हे आणि सिद्धिविनायक ट्रस्टचे सदा सरवणकर यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत पुरस्कार प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत.
शासनामार्फत ५८ आणि ५९ वा राज्य मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार यंदा एकाच वेळी प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत. त्याचबरोबर २०२३ मधील चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार (१० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेते शिवाजी साटम यांना तर  स्व. राज कपूर जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार ( १० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेत्री आशा पारेख यांना या पुरस्कार सोहोळ्यात प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.
यासोबतच, २०२३ चा चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  लेखक-दिग्दर्शक, अभिनेते दिग्पाल लांजेकर यांना तर  स्व.राज कपूर विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  जेष्ठ लेखक- दिग्दर्शक-संकलक एन.चंद्रा यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.
यासोबतच गानसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकर पुरस्कार २०२४ प्रख्यात गायिका अनुराधा पौडवाल यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार असून प्रख्यात अभिनेत्री रोहिणी हट्टगंडी यांना चित्रपटांसाठी राज्य सांस्कृतिक पुरस्कार २०२४ आणि कंठसंगीतासाठी प्रख्यात गायक सुदेश भोसले यांना सन्मानित करण्यात येणार आहे.

NOIDA:  In a significant development, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, has been appointed as the Patron of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa. We are confident that this collaboration will significantly enhance the cultural and educational ties between our two nations,” said Dr. Marwah. Additionally, he has served as the Undersecretary, Finance Division, MFA, and Deputy Chief of Protocol (Privileges and Immunities) in the Protocol and Consular Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

New York, USA:  In a heartfelt ceremony that celebrated extraordinary contributions to global peace and universal spirituality, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, was honored with the prestigious title “Vishwa Shanti Padmam – Lotus of World Peace.” This esteemed recognition was conferred by the Board of Directors of the World Yoga Community during his visit to New York, USA.

Born in the picturesque Pahalgam Valley in Kashmir, Ridwana’s early life was idyllic, shaped by her traditional Kashmiri Muslim family. An avid horse rider, golfer, basketball player, swimmer, guitarist, and kathak dancer, Dr. Ridwana was honored many times internationally and nationally as the best physiotherapist and women of substance. She has prevented over 55,000 surgeries related to knee osteoarthritis, ACL sports injuries, and Slip Disc injuries. As an experienced social entrepreneur and physiotherapist, she combines technical expertise with spiritual Healing (quantum Healing techniques)

She plans to extend her reach across the country with the help of technology ( video Consultation) Her Diagnosis Accuracy is 99/ with some Spritual Gift, knowledge, skilled expediences,  having honed her skills in Japan, Singapore, and the UK. Rabi Art Gallery, Shantiniketan, W.B. a name that is synonymous with quality and innovation in the Indian art scene, is all set to captivate art audiences in Mumbai and beyond with a remarkable art showcase at the Jehangir Art Gallery from 28th May to 3rd June, 2024. This exhibition, which brings together a diverse range of rare artworks by Indian masters ranging from pre-independence to contemporary, presents a great opportunity for collectors and audiences to witness the diversity and complexity of Indian art under one roof.

Modern Indian art remains the proverbial jewel in the crown for art collectors, with a consistent demand for works by masters. However, finding rare and authentic works has always been a challenge. This exhibition is one such platform that has been curated by Sumanta Paul, the Honorary Advisor of Rabi Art Gallery, showcasing only genuine artworks that he has been meticulously collecting over the past 30 years.

In honor of his late father and well-known artist Rabi Paul, Sumanta Paul founded the Rabi Art Gallery in Shantiniketan in 1996. Rabi Paul was a disciple of Ramkinker Baij and Nandalal Bose. He also worked closely with Satyajit Ray. As a visionary and advocate of Indian art, Sumanta planned multiple art shows around the county.  Over the years, Sumanta worked closely with several artists and continued to personally collect their works, building a sizable collection of authentic, rare and remarkable artworks.

This exhibition offers a comprehensive look at two centuries of Indian art practices, encompassing significant trends, artistic interventions, media, and techniques.
