Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, conducted its 20th Fashionite 2023, a unique Annual Fashion Show in which their talented 78 designers unleashed around 131 creative ensembles which were displayed by 20 sizzling models on a specially designed ramp at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore, in front of a jam packed audience on the evening of 4th  October,2023. The show started with the lighting of lamp.

Chief Guests for the day were dignitaries from National level Universities, Fashion trainers and Fashion leaders, Fashion Employers, Rotary clubs such as Prof.Smt. Mrs.Manjula Harish, Principal of IIFT welcomed the chief guests, esteemed members, respectful parents, energetic and enthusiastic academic trainers, students and the world of print media and electronic media.

The audience encouraged each designer with roaring applause & excitement as the models walked down the ramp showcasing the designs, followed by all the designers making an entry along the models on the ramp. There was a look of pride, confidence & anxiousness in the face of the designers when there were showing their designs in front of the 1000 plus crowd consisting of their friends, relatives & family as well as fashion industry delegates.

The jury shortlisted 15 finalists out of 78 participants which were based on jury criteria such as justice to the theme, swatch selections, color aesthetics, innovation in silhouettes , presentation of collections with accessories, detailing in ornamentation, styling and originality.

The themes of the show included Futuristic Fashion, Handloom, Mythical, Zero Waste, Paddy fields, Tribal art as well as many other interesting themes. The colours used indicated various messages to the audience. The fabrics used were mixed of wearable and non wearable and ranged from Pure silk weaving with indian traditional motifs, Jute rice bags, Organza, Satin cotton, Glaze cotton, Linen, Velvet, Chiffon, Georgette, Brocades, Netted fabrics & many more fabrics that are in trend, some of the garment designs were highly accessorized with headgears, Handmade jewelleries, bags & some of the designs had highly intricate embellishment and surface ornamentation  such as Zardozi work, Macrame, Aari work, traditional Indian embroideries, hand painting & printing were incorporated to present trends combining the materials from different state.

Each design had a story to tell. A story which stole the heart and soul of all the audience. It was visual communication which personified the audience.

The audience sat spell bound by the magic of the stories one after the other as all 78 designers showcased their innovative fashion extravagance of collections.

At the end of the show all the designers were presented with Prestigious IIFT mementos and certificates in recognition of their hard work and immense

Awards were given for categories such as,  IIFT Best Designer of the Year 2023 , Best Designer Award in B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design, ‘BEST DESIGNER-NON TEXTILE’, Best Designer Award in Fashion Designing and Boutique Management, Best Collection and Best Theme.

The audience were mesmerized and delighted by the display of creativity that were displayed by their wards and loved ones. The show promised a royal, joyful, soothing treat for sore eyes with designers, models and International and National Celebrities from different parts of the fashion world who witnessed this fashion extravaganza of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology 20th Annual Fashion show FASHIONITE 2023.

Noida, India – The 9th edition of the Global Literary Festival Noida, organized by the Asian Academy of Arts in collaboration with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, commenced with grandeur and grandiosity at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City. This remarkable event has successfully brought together representatives from seventy countries, including esteemed authors, writers, poets, and artists from diverse regions, all united to celebrate the essence of love, peace, and unity through the medium of Art and Culture, echoing the festival’s slogan: ‘G-70: Uniting through Art and Culture.’

Renowned writer Robin Bhatt commended the fusion of literature and film writing, a distinctive feature of this festival. Savita Singh, a celebrated author and poetess, lauded the grand scale and societal relevance of the Global Literary Festival Noida.

During the inauguration, a book on Amrita Shergil by Dr. Neelam Verma was unveiled, alongside the release of a poster honoring Ram Manohar Lohia, an Indian social worker. Yash (Krishna) Ramkishor Rajgarhia is a great devotee of Lord Ganesha and he has been placing Ganpati Bappa in his house for the last 14 years. His specialty is that he does not immerse the idol of Ganeshji but has been keeping the idol in his house for 14 years and behind this he has deep devotion towards Ganeshji. He says that once Bappa comes to the house, he does not feel like sending him away. On the day of Anant Chaturthi, after worshiping Lord Ganesha as per rituals, the idol is covered after taking a dip in water mixed with Ganga Jal and then after Diwali, the idol of Lord Ganesha is kept in the house.

Ganpati Bappa idol has been placed by the Mumbaicha Mahasamrat for the 14th year this year. And yash (Krishna) has installed the idol with an unique theme this year. In this, his father Ram Kishor and mother Anita Rajgarhia also had full support.

Yash (Krishna) Ramkishor Rajgarhia while interacting with the media at his house said that this is the tallest idol of Ganeshji present in any house in the whole Maharashtra which is 8 feet high. The idol of Ganpati Bappa has been made on the trolley.

This Murti has been made by Mumbai’s famous sculptor Kunal Patil.

This year’s idol is in the form of Ardha Narishwar, which is a unique concept. Yash (Krishna) has brought this idol from Naigaon Vasai which is situated in F 501 of Aggarwal Residency located in Shankar Gali of Kandivali West.

Krishna told that with Bappa’s arrival there is brightness everywhere. There is an atmosphere of joy and happiness, many people come to meet and seek blessings of Bappa. I myself have great enthusiasm to see Bappa all over Mumbai, I go to many places and take blessings of Bappa. I wish that Bappa gives a healthy life to me, my family and the entire country including Mumbai and Maharashtra, health is the greatest wealth.

The Murti depicts a tableau of united India and the tricolor of India.

Yash (Krishna) has wanted to do something different in the creative field since childhood. He has been installing different types of idols of Lord Ganesha in his house for the last 14 years.

He says that we worship Lord Ganesha every year, this time I thought why not worship Lord Ganesha along with his parents Shiva and Parvati ji. This idol has been made according to this theme. I have also made a 40-minute film on the same theme.

In this devotional spirit of Yash (Krishna), apart from his parents, he gets the love of all the sculptors, relatives, neighbors, society members, friends, family and all the nearby Ganesh Mandals and Ganesh devotees.

The organization’s primary aim is to become a registered NGO headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and affiliated with the United Nations, further solidifying its commitment to advancing human rights on a global scale. Under its leitmotif, “justice for everyone, everywhere,” WJA seeks to address growing concerns about the politicization of justice systems, denials of justice, and the erosion of civil liberties in many parts of the world.

WJA has opened offices not only in Belgrade but also in countries including India, Geneva, Frankfurt, Riyadh, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Belgium, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, the UK, Hong Kong, Venezuela, Nigeria, China, and Australia. This global footprint allows the organization to provide assistance to victims worldwide.

The core objectives of World Alliance Justice are access to justice on international forum. Many victims around the world lack access to adequate legal representation or the financial means to pursue justice. World Alliance Justice seeks to bridge this gap by connecting victims with experienced legal professionals who can advocate for their rights. The organization aims to foster an international forum for legal professionals to network, collaborate, and share knowledge across borders. This exchange of expertise will enrich the global legal community and enhance its collective ability to address human rights abuses.

The WJA fosters international collaboration among legal experts, including lawyers, magistrates, journalists, and investigators. WJA advocates for justice in cases where national jurisdictions fail to act due to political interference. The organization’s strategy includes utilizing the legal possibilities of other countries to initiate proceedings against perpetrators of abuses of power or crimes. Individual cases of victims seeking WJA’s assistance are evaluated, and when applicable, grouped into collective actions, including class-action lawsuits. Some WJA members bring valuable experience in handling collective actions on behalf of thousands of victims of human rights abuses.
