Prof. Dr. Madhu Krishan is grand son of a freedom fighter from Tamilnadu , whose grand father, the hardcore freedom fighter who was arrested in Trenelvelly , Tamilnadu and was sent by British to cellular Jail ,Port Blair in the Year 1911 and was in prision for more than 20 years . His grandfather ( by profession was a physician) treated the great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar Jii ( Vinayak Damodar Savarkar Jii ) in Port Blair Cellular Jai when he was tortured by the British Govt .
