राजस्थान की रहने वाली याशिका बसेरा ने सबसे पहले थियेटर से जुड़कर अभिनय की शुरूआत की थी। राजस्थान की स्थानीय मारवाड़ी भाषा की दो फिल्मों में अपने बेहतरीन एक्टिंग की छाप छोड़ने के बाद अपने सपनों को पंख देने के लिए मुंबई चली आयी। यहां एक टीवी सीरियल में काम करने के बाद प्रोड्यूसर संजय बेड़िया के साथ मिलकर ‘अश्क कैसे छुपायेंगे’ गाने में अपने अभिनय कौशल से सबका मन मोह लिया है।

नये कलाकारों से काम कराने के सवाल पर प्रोड्यूसर संजय बेड़िया का कहना है कि यदि किसी में टैलेंट है तो उसे जरूर मौका मिलना चाहिये। सही मौका नहीं मिल पाने पर बहुत सारी अच्छी प्रतिभायें दम तोड़ रही हैं। सही व्यक्ति को उसके काम के अनुसार पहचान कर मौका देना ही हमारा लक्ष्य है।
